Emotional Appeal Nike uses a strong emotional appeal in its posts, often sharing inspiring stories of athletes overcoming challenges. The images and videos are designed to motivate and inspire the audience to surpass themselves, resonating with emotions like determination and personal achievement.

My Personal Point of View


As a person who follows Nike on Instagram, I believe the brand's strategy is very effective in connecting with its audience. The generalization that their products are essential for success can be both inspiring and intimidating, depending on one’s personal perspective. The emotional appeal really captures my attention and motivates me, while the use of celebrities reinforces the perception of quality and success. However, I also realize that although their products seem exceptional, the reality is that the brand is constantly promoting its commercial interests, which can lead to a biased view of athletic performance and the need for certain products.
